Screenprinting to learn patterns

As the kids get older, we can start doing more interesting computational crafts. Today we were trying out making patterns, by using stencils and screen-printing too create sequences of the same shape, and transforming it into a pattern to cover a whole square fabric.

We are using two books for inspiration and guidance. One on the patterns, the other on the screen printing techniques, as well as some great pattern inspiration.
